I have put it above but my apologies if it isn't clear enough. You need to insert the flat bladed screwdriver into the recess and whilst holding firmly in place, twist it. The covers should then separate. You may need some force to do this. Be careful to do it in an area where you can see the little buttons that fall out (like on a table or similar).
